When: Every Monday from 19:45 to 20:45
Every Monday from 19:45 to 20:45, we meet in 1.240 in Luna. Every session focusses on a different theme- sometimes these are very loose, sometimes they come with a short but well-prepared presentation about the style or theme that we will focus on. After getting a prompt or constraint, we then spend some time (often around 10 minutes) free writing; that means writing down whatever comes up and not thinking too hard about it. When everyone is done, we read what we have just written, giving you immediate feedback and validation about your writing (don’t worry, we are nice). It can be easy to fall into the trap of never getting to writing because you want it to be good, so these free writes are a great place to break that habit and have a fun time writing. And who knows, maybe something good will come out of it ?
